THE PROCESS & DESIGN JOURNEY

We know that creating your wedding invitations comes with countless decisions and possibilities. That’s why we’re here to guide you through every step, making the process feel seamless and enjoyable. Below, you’ll find a simple overview of what to expect when ordering your custom invitations.

Discovery Consultation

Every project begins with a thoughtful conversation. We take the time to learn about your wedding vision, aesthetic preferences, and the details that make your celebration uniquely meaningful.

Start by gathering inspiration from our collections, portfolio, Pinterest, or even details you’ve saved along the way. Pay attention to the elements you naturally gravitate toward: colors, textures, florals, patterns, venue details, and the overall mood you want your wedding to have. Your vision sets the foundation for every detail, allowing us to create a stationery suite that feels cohesive, intentional, and uniquely yours.

Quotation

Once we have your desired suite details and estimated quantity, we’ll put together a personalized proposal based on your vision. This will include a detailed breakdown of the recommended printing techniques, paper and materials, finishing details, embellishments, and overall investment, so you have a clear understanding of what is included before moving forward.

[3]

Booking

To secure your place in our production schedule, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. Once the deposit is received, your project is officially confirmed and we can begin bringing your stationery vision to life.

The remaining 50% balance, along with any applicable shipping costs, will be due upon completion of production. Before final payment, we’ll provide photographs and videos of your finished suite so you can see the completed details and craftsmanship before everything is carefully prepared for shipment.

Design Development

Once your reservation is secured, we begin curating your design direction. Through inspiration boards, carefully selected details, and refined concepts, we develop a cohesive stationery experience tailored to your wedding. As the design takes shape, we also prepare detailed, digital-realistic mockups so you can visualize how the complete suite and day-of stationery will come together, including the layout, colors, materials, printing techniques, and finishing details, before production begins.

PRINTING TECHNIQUES

Printing is an essential part of the stationery experience, adding dimension, texture, and sophistication to every design.

From deeply impressed letterpress and radiant foil stamping to modern digital and specialty printing techniques, each process offers a distinct aesthetic and finish.

Browse our guide to learn more about each method and find the perfect combination of materials and printing techniques for your wedding stationery.

Digital printing

Digital printing provides a clean, crisp finish with exceptional detail and color accuracy. Unlike traditional printing methods, it does not create an impression in the paper, resulting in a smooth and refined surface. As no custom plates are required, it offers a versatile and cost-effective option while maintaining a polished, professional appearance. This method is ideally paired with our 300 gsm cardstock for a beautifully balanced finish

Letterpress
printing

Letterpress is a timeless printing technique that creates a beautifully debossed impression within the paper, adding depth, texture, and a distinctly luxurious feel. Using custom printing plates and traditional press methods, each ink color is applied separately to achieve a refined and dimensional result. Available in a wide range of Pantone colors (excluding white), letterpress is especially well suited to our handmade papers and premium cardstock beginning at 360 gsm up to 600 gsm, where the impression can be fully appreciated.

Sculpted embossing

A refined dimensional technique that creates beautifully raised artwork directly into the paper. Each detail is sculpted into the embossing plate, producing intricate contours, depth, and a luxurious tactile finish.

Foil press
printing

Foil press brings a beautiful metallic dimension to paper, creating a refined, luminous finish through the use of custom plates. Each color is pressed individually, allowing for exceptional crispness and detail, with a subtle impression that adds to its tactile appeal.

Available in a beautiful range of tones-from classic gold and silver to copper, rose gold, bronze, white, and beyond-foil press can be beautifully paired with a variety of paper stocks to create an elevated, luxurious finish.

Sculpted embossing and foil press printing

Sculpted embossing combines dimensional artistry with the luminous beauty of foil. The design is carefully molded into the paper to create varying levels of depth, while foil is applied over the raised surface to accentuate every curve, detail, and contour. The result is a richly tactile finish with a beautiful interplay of light, texture, and metallic shine, perfect for designs where the smallest details deserve to stand out.

Deboss printing

Debossing creates a beautifully subtle impression by pressing text or artwork directly into the paper, leaving the design recessed into the surface. With no ink, foil, or added color, the result is an understated finish that lets the texture and depth of the paper speak for itself.
